Whole Life Insurance

Definition

Life insurance that lasts as long as premiums are paid. It combines three guarantees in one asset: a death benefit, fixed premiums and cash value that grows tax-deferred and can be borrowed against through policy loans. Guarantees are dependent on the claims-paying ability of the issuing company.
